Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-09-13.

These terms cover both this website (yatate.app) and the Yatate application.

The app

Yatate is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. You're responsible for the documents, forms, and PDFs you create with it, and for verifying that generated output meets your own requirements before relying on it (for signage, legal, or any other purpose). The app runs entirely offline - nothing you enter into a form is transmitted anywhere by the app itself.

License and purchases

Yatate is distributed through the Apple App Store, Mac App Store, Microsoft Store, and Google Play, each offering two separate listings: Yatate (free - output carries a watermark) and Yatate Pro (a one-time purchase that removes it). Every feature of the app - including batch generation - is identical between the two; only the watermark on generated output differs.

This purchase, and the watermark-free status it unlocks, apply to Yatate version 1.x. A future major version of Yatate may introduce a different pricing model (including a subscription) for new capabilities it adds. Purchasing Yatate Pro doesn't entitle you to those future capabilities for free, and doesn't take away what you already purchased.

Organizations and bulk use

Today, each copy of Yatate Pro must be purchased individually through the same App Store/Google Play/Microsoft Store process described above - Yatate doesn't operate a separate licensing channel of its own outside those stores. If your organization needs multiple copies (for example, several kiosks or workstations) and wants to discuss organizational or volume licensing, contact us - we may offer different terms for that kind of use in the future, most likely through each store's own business/volume-purchase program (Apple Business Manager, Google Play for Business, Microsoft Store for Business) rather than a channel of our own.

This website

Projects published in the Project Library are provided as-is, for reference and reuse. Downloading and importing one is at your own discretion - review its contents before relying on it for your own use.

Changes

These terms may change as the app and site evolve. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
